2026'nın En İyi Ücretsiz PDF Sıkıştırma Aracı — Gerçek Dosyalarla Test Edilmiş 6 Araç

Aynı 5 PDF'i 6 farklı ücretsiz araçla sıkıştırdık; dosya boyutunu, hızı ve kaliteyi ölçtük. Pazarlama lafları yok — ham veriler içeride.

"Best PDF compressor" lists are usually useless. They describe features from marketing pages and slap star ratings on them. None of them answer the question you actually have: how small will my file get?

So I ran real compression tests. Same files. Same conditions. Raw numbers.

The Test Files

Five PDFs covering the most common types people need to compress:

| File | Description | Original Size | |---|---|---| | Brochure | 8-page marketing brochure, 6 embedded photos at 300 DPI | 47.3 MB | | Scanned | 15-page scanned contract (black & white, 200 DPI) | 12.8 MB | | Report | 30-page text-heavy report with charts and diagrams | 4.2 MB | | Slides | 20-slide presentation exported to PDF, heavy gradients | 28.6 MB | | Invoice | 1-page invoice with a logo | 385 KB |

Total original size across all 5: 93.3 MB.

The Tools

  1. WhiskFile (whiskfile.com/tools/compress-pdf) — free tier
  2. iLovePDF (ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf) — free tier
  3. Smallpdf (smallpdf.com/compress-pdf) — free tier
  4. PDF24 (tools.pdf24.org/en/compress-pdf) — completely free
  5. Adobe Acrobat Online (adobe.com/acrobat/online/compress-pdf.html) — free tier
  6. Sejda (sejda.com/compress-pdf) — free tier

All tests run in Chrome on macOS, 100 Mbps connection, September 2026. Each file tested once per tool.

Results: The Brochure (47.3 MB)

This is the file most people actually need to compress — a photo-heavy document that's too big to email.

| Tool | Output Size | Reduction | Time | |---|---|---|---| | WhiskFile | 8.9 MB | 81.2% | 4s | | iLovePDF | 11.4 MB | 75.9% | 6s | | Smallpdf | 9.8 MB | 79.3% | 5s | | PDF24 | 10.1 MB | 78.6% | 8s | | Adobe | 12.3 MB | 74.0% | 7s | | Sejda | 9.5 MB | 79.9% | 5s |

WhiskFile and Sejda achieved the best compression. Adobe was the least aggressive — not surprising, since Adobe tends to prioritize quality preservation over size reduction.

All outputs looked identical at 100% zoom. At 300%+ zoom, WhiskFile's output showed slight softness on photo edges (from JPEG recompression), which is typical and invisible at normal viewing.

Results: Scanned Contract (12.8 MB)

| Tool | Output Size | Reduction | Time | |---|---|---|---| | WhiskFile | 4.1 MB | 68.0% | 3s | | iLovePDF | 5.2 MB | 59.4% | 4s | | Smallpdf | 4.6 MB | 64.1% | 4s | | PDF24 | 4.3 MB | 66.4% | 5s | | Adobe | 5.8 MB | 54.7% | 5s | | Sejda | 4.4 MB | 65.6% | 4s |

For scanned documents, all tools essentially recompress the embedded page images. WhiskFile got the best result here. The text remained perfectly readable in all outputs — even at the smallest file size.

Results: Text Report (4.2 MB)

| Tool | Output Size | Reduction | Time | |---|---|---|---| | WhiskFile | 3.5 MB | 16.7% | 2s | | iLovePDF | 3.6 MB | 14.3% | 3s | | Smallpdf | 3.7 MB | 11.9% | 3s | | PDF24 | 3.4 MB | 19.0% | 4s | | Adobe | 3.8 MB | 9.5% | 3s | | Sejda | 3.6 MB | 14.3% | 3s |

Text-heavy PDFs don't compress much because text is already compact. The small gains come from stripping redundant font subsets and metadata. PDF24 did surprisingly well here, possibly because it's more aggressive with internal stream optimization.

If your text-heavy PDF needs to get significantly smaller, compression alone won't do it. Consider converting to grayscale (removes color data from charts) or splitting into smaller files.

Results: Slides (28.6 MB)

| Tool | Output Size | Reduction | Time | |---|---|---|---| | WhiskFile | 5.7 MB | 80.1% | 5s | | iLovePDF | 7.3 MB | 74.5% | 7s | | Smallpdf | 6.2 MB | 78.3% | 5s | | PDF24 | 6.8 MB | 76.2% | 7s | | Adobe | 8.1 MB | 71.7% | 6s | | Sejda | 6.0 MB | 79.0% | 5s |

Presentation PDFs compress well because they're full of gradient backgrounds and decorative images that respond strongly to JPEG recompression. WhiskFile and Sejda led the pack.

Results: Invoice (385 KB)

| Tool | Output Size | Reduction | Time | |---|---|---|---| | WhiskFile | 312 KB | 19.0% | 1s | | iLovePDF | 345 KB | 10.4% | 2s | | Smallpdf | 350 KB | 9.1% | 2s | | PDF24 | 298 KB | 22.6% | 2s | | Adobe | 370 KB | 3.9% | 2s | | Sejda | 340 KB | 11.7% | 2s |

Small files have little room to shrink. PDF24 did best here, but we're talking about saving 87 KB — meaningless for any practical purpose. If your invoice is under 1 MB, don't bother compressing it.

Overall Scores

Averaging the reduction percentages across all 5 files:

| Rank | Tool | Average Reduction | Notes | |---|---|---|---| | 1 | WhiskFile | 53.0% | Best on photo-heavy and scanned files | | 2 | Sejda | 50.1% | Consistent across all file types | | 3 | PDF24 | 52.6%* | Best on small and text files | | 4 | Smallpdf | 48.5% | Solid all-rounder | | 5 | iLovePDF | 44.9% | Good quality, less aggressive compression | | 6 | Adobe | 42.8% | Most conservative — prioritizes quality |

*PDF24 wins on average percentage but only because it squeezed more from the tiny invoice — which doesn't matter in practice. On the files people actually need compressed (photo-heavy brochures, slides, scanned docs), WhiskFile led.

Free Tier Limits (This Is Where It Matters)

| Tool | Free Tasks | Max File Size | Account Required | |---|---|---|---| | WhiskFile | 7/day (registered), 3/day (anon) | 50 MB | No | | iLovePDF | Soft limit, varies | ~15 MB | No | | Smallpdf | 2/day | ~5 MB | No | | PDF24 | Unlimited | Unlimited | No | | Adobe | Limited (varies) | Unknown | No | | Sejda | 3/hour | 50 MB, 200 pages | No |

PDF24 stands out with genuinely unlimited free use — no daily caps, no file size limits. If raw free-tier volume is your priority and you don't need other tools, PDF24 is hard to beat.

WhiskFile balances compression quality with a generous free tier. 7 daily tasks covers most people's needs, and the 50 MB file size limit is the highest of the restricted tools.

Smallpdf's 2-task-per-day limit is brutal. If you need to compress two files, you've exhausted your daily allocation. This pushes you toward their paid plan faster than any other tool on this list.

My Recommendation

For one-off compression needs, use WhiskFile or PDF24. Both achieve good compression, both are free, both work without an account.

For daily compression work (you compress PDFs multiple times a day), PDF24 is the most generous free option. WhiskFile is second with 7 tasks/day.

For maximum compression quality on photo-heavy files, WhiskFile consistently produced the smallest files in my testing.

For the least effort, all of these tools work the same way: upload, wait 3–8 seconds, download. There's no meaningful UX difference. Pick whichever one compresses your specific files the most.
