PDFs are the universal document format. Converting images to PDF is useful when you need to: email multiple photos as one attachment instead of many, create a printable photo booklet or portfolio, submit scanned documents (photos of receipts, IDs, or forms) in PDF format, or archive images in a format that preserves layout across devices.

Unlike sharing raw image files, PDFs maintain consistent page sizing and orientation regardless of the recipient's device or operating system.

All formats produce identical PDF quality. The choice of input format does not affect the output PDF.
